Admissions to Nursery
2 year old nursery - We offer a warm, loving, calm and enriched environment where all children can start their school journey.
We offer places for two year olds under the free places eligibility scheme. To check if you are eligible for the free funding, please check the ask lion website: https://www.asklion.co.uk. If you are entitled it will be 15 hours over 5 days. If you are not entitled we do offer paid places. For further information please contact the school office on 0115 9421301.
You are very welcome to come and visit us to have a look round before you make your decision; it's important that you feel that you have found the right school for your child.

Admissions into Reception
Children are admitted into Reception in the September following their fourth birthday. Please note that a place in our Nursery does not automatically entitle you to a place in one of our reception classes. You must make a seperate application for a place in our reception class following the link below.
Admissions into other year groups
We work closely with Nottingham City Council to coordinate admissions to Djanogly Sherwood Academy.
If you want your child to come to this academy then you should still apply via the City Council using their online form or by asking them for a paper form for you to complete (see below).

Pupils who attend our nursery are not guaranteed to receive a place in the main school when it is time for them to move into F2 (Reception), the academy's Admission Policy will be applied at this time. All applications for a place in the main school should be made through the Local Authority at:-
