Where Everyone Belongs

Welcome to Shaftsbury Class!

Where do we come from?

This half term our driver subject is biology in science. We will learn all about evolution and inheritance. We will find out about adaptive traits and why these happen in different environments and habits. We will find out about inherited traits such as eye colour, the shape of your earlobes and even whether or not you can smell certain flowers.

Shaftsbury class will be going swimming every Tuesday this half term. Please see the letter for information about the kit they will need.

This half term, we will spend time thinking about the secondary schools the children will move to in September. Some of the teachers from the secondary schools may come into school to visit your children. Other schools have arranged transition days and after school workshops. Keep an eye out for letters and emails from your child's secondary schools for information about these.
